Travel with friends!

These women...my travel pals and BFFs. We went to Cape Cod in September and Branson in December. Ladies, if you don't have a group of women to travel with, go find you some!

These friendships date as far back as the early 70s. Carla, Marsha, Maggie - they know all my stuff. They get me, and I get them. As I contemplate my memories with these three, I'm a little overwhelmed with all the history. There have been times when life got in the way, and we weren't in as close touch as we are now, all retired and ready to go. But it has been a lifetime of experiences and fun.

Cape Cod was definitely a bucket list for me. The weather was perfect, the food delicious, the shopping amazing, and the company fabulous.

I found Cape Cod to be inspirational and was able to spend a bit of time working on my novel. Something about the crisp Atlantic air and the ocean splashing on the giant rocks outside our condo... So now I'm very close to being able to submit to the agents who have requested materials from me! Validation - traveling with pals = writing motivation! What a bonus!

The second pic is our 5th (I think, lol) trip to Branson. We have gone the first week of December for several years now. Missouri is as beautiful as anywhere I've been. I love seeing all the different terrain in our country, but I'm never sad to say I live in this beautiful state! And to see it with my bunch is another bonus!
