Spring is here???

I was able to enjoy my deck during a quick visit with my brother last week. Got my fingers crossed that ole Mother Nature isn't messing with us anymore and that we are on our way to spring!

I have become officially old, I guess. Visiting on my deck with my little fireplace going is just about my favorite thing to do. Coffee, wine, whatever. It's just a great place to hang out. I'm delighted that the weather was such that Dennis and I could sit out there and listen to bird calls, enjoying the warm breeze.

On another note, I have given my manuscript to my lovely editor, Lee Ann. Waiting (im)patiently for her feedback, then on to the next phase of sending out requested materials to the agents who I have pitched over the last couple months. I've got a good feeling about this story - the grief journey of a middle-aged woman, Anna Kate, who discovers she has a magical healing gift after her husband dies. She is frustrated and angry that she was unaware of the gift before his death, knowing she could have saved him. But Anna Kate slogs through her grief with the support of her friends and learns just how resilient she is. She and her friends find themselves in the middle of an unsolved mystery, which eventually helps answer Anna's questions about her gift and gives her the opportunity to help others as she learns how navigate her new life.

Keep your fingers crossed for me! This is the third novel I've completed and I'm hoping it's the charm! Maybe Anna Kate's mountain magic will bring me some, too!

Hope you all are well and happy! Lol, it's always my goal to post more frequently, but somehow time gets away!

Thanks for reading my ramblings!
