What's in a hashtag?? #dingdong

I just completed an amazing workshop hosted by Writing Away Refuge about how to use social media to market your book. Now I know why nobody ever comments on my twitter posts - no hashtags! Lol after this weekend, I think I will adopt #dingdong as my very own, because I definitely feel like a ding dong with all this newfangled technology! I can feel my Tall Man laughing in heaven as I grapple with the concept of hashtags.

Now I just need to start hashtagging! OMG I'm open for all input if anyone cares to help me continue my enlightenment process!
